Join us for a 90-minute guided walking tour of Columbia City, led by Mikala Woodward, a longtime Rainier Valley resident and curator at MOHAI.
Explore the neighborhood’s layered history, from its early days as a streetcar suburb to the thriving cultural district it is today. Along the way, you’ll hear stories of immigrant communities, historic landmarks, and the evolving urban landscape. The tour begins at the Rainier Valley Historical Society office (3710 S Ferdinand St) and runs rain or shine. Come prepared!
